Over the years, we’ve learned one key thing.
Our clients have a problem to solve.

More space, less space, reconfiguration, adaptation – the triggers vary, but they generally have the same things in common:

  • They’re not planners, designers, builders, installers or project managers.
  • Timescales are often tight and disruption needs to be kept to a minimum.
  • They know what result they want, but don’t know how to achieve it.
  • Results are often intangible (better staff collaboration, better use of space, happier workplace)

Our hands on process helps us to stay one step ahead, removes the hassle and ensures we deliver the right solution.

The nuts and bolts

To create the right solution, we need to understand the need.

At a site visit, we look at your brief. This includes;

  • The driver for change
  • Who the change will affect
  • How the change needs to be managed

We carry out a site survey and understand any considerations and restrictions including soundproofing, use of space, building regulations, storage, security, access… things you’ve possibly not even thought of.

We go through the must haves and nice to haves – we really get to the bones of what you want to achieve.

Most importantly, we discuss roles and responsibilities – who is responsible for what and who needs to do what and by when. We’ll most likely be doing most of this on your behalf, but we like to make sure every detail is captured.

The fun stuff

This is where we put our expertise into action.

We’ll develop a proposal for you, including drawings, suggestions for finishes, materials, furniture and branding.

Not overlooking the important details, our proposals also include advice on building regulations, management of HSE obligations and any asbestos actions/considerations if and where relevant. We’re like to be one step ahead, so you don’t have to be.

The Nitty Gritty

Quotations finalised and project stages agreed, we then get into the finer details.

We’ll provide you with a breakdown of timings, the action plan, any areas of disruption and their potential impact. With these details agreed and costs signed off… it’s time to get the ball rolling.

The magic

It’s an exciting step when we get to work and start to deliver.

As your project is coordinated, overseen and managed by a dedicated project manager, you will have a single point of contact for your entire project. Of course, the rest of the Cubex team support your Project Manager from their base at HQ, but your PM ensures the magic happens as and when it is supposed to.

The grand finale

With the project completed, there’s only a few more housekeeping bits to complete.

Most importantly, we’ll create a snagging list which will be followed up on. We also take you through any briefings, guarantees, hand over certificates and run through relevant operating instructions before asking you to complete our client satisfaction survey.

It’s not the last you’ll see of us of course. We like to stay in touch to make sure things are as they should be. We are on hand should you need us at any stage, but we will be in touch after 6 and 12 months for a more formal catch up.
