Since then Cubex has gone from strength to strength (although we credit that success to the fabulous team he has recruited!) with Andy heading up Sales and Design and working on the strategic development of the business. Andy brings a wealth of experience and integrity to the team…we have to say that, he’s the boss!
Yvonne Ground (MBA)
General Manager
Yvonne has been a member of the Cubex Contracts team for a few years now, joining in the middle of the pandemic in 2020. As General Manager, Yvonne is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the business overseeing customer projects, new sales and our business marketing strategies… She’s a lady of many talents! (Just keep her away from open flames and sharp objects – she’s a tad accident prone!)
With an extensive background in commercial awareness, Yvonne spends a lot of her time focusing on the continued expansion and development of Cubex – thankfully her tenacious personality, along with her talent for sales and customer service, put her in good stead to execute these objectives seamlessly.
Living almost 90 miles away from Cubex HQ, Yvonne puts hybrid working to the test – and successfully might we add!
When she’s not managing the Cubex team (including our office dog, Sprout!), Yvonne can be found dressmaking, playing squash or riding her motorbike… Yes, really! Yvonne owns a Cruiser and an Adventure bike. Truth be told, there’s no end to Yvonne’s talents as she’s also a qualified day skipper and coastal sailor. In addition to her love of motorbikes (and classic cars), Yvonne enjoys exploring new places, finding hidden treasures up and down the UK and spending time with her cockapoo (Roxy), her partner, Leigh, and her 2 stepchildren.
Jane Malt
Office Manager
We welcomed Jane to the Cubex team several years ago, originally as our Office Administrator (officially) and jack of all trades (unofficially). Arguably the most organised member of the team, Jane soon found herself worthy of the promotion to Office Manager – a position she has executed effortlessly! An extensive background in customer service management puts Jane in good stead as our customers’ first port of call during their project installation (and our Projects Team are often in awe of her initiative and efficiency!)
Living just 3 miles away from Cubex HQ and next door to the boss, Jane enjoys spending her weekends planting in the garden, cooking up a storm in the kitchen or taking her beloved Labrador, Miss Poppy on a local shoot (they team up in all weathers and walk for miles!). Jane and her husband, Kevin, share an impressive brood between them including 3 Labradors and 2 Springer Spaniels, and there’s a big ongoing debate about whether to add a new cat to the family too!

Office Administrator
Sue joined Cubex Contracts a fair few years ago (cough, 6) as Office Administrator and it didn’t take long for her to exceed expectations with her efficiency, attention to detail and organisational skills (not surprising really considering her previous career!) Before joining Cubex, Sue worked as a Primary School Teacher… Needless to say she has no issues keeping a lively and young-at-heart Cubex team in line!
As Office Administrator, Sue is responsible for supporting the day-to-day running of the office and assisting the Sales and Operations teams with their projects. Sue is also in charge of the tea and coffee supplies, and maybe the odd biscuit!
Out of work Sue enjoys spending time in the great outdoors either going for walks or growing her own vegetables in the garden; although this has taken a backseat recently as, at the beginning of 2023, Sue and her husband were promoted to Grandparents! Naturally, Sue has taken her new role of Nanny very seriously and has found a new hobby knitting baby hats, mittens, jumpers … You name it Sue is knitting it. (Any requests, anyone?)

Matt originally joined the Cubex team (a fair few years ago now) from the glamorous world of TV! In his role of Estimator/Designer (and unofficial IT support), Matt enjoys creating multi-functional space saving solutions using 3D design rendering walk-through videos (have you seen them? They’re quite spectacular!)
Living in Broughton with wife Josie and their two cats, Willow and Jack, Matt is your go-to-guy for any feline-related questions! Matt is currently learning to play the piano (although we’re yet to hear this new talent of his!) and grows his own fruit and veg in his back garden. In his free time, Matt enjoys a game of squash or a night-in with friends playing board games… We hear it can get quite competitive in the Griffiths household! Oh and if you ever visit us here at Cubex HQ, be sure to stop by Matt’s desk for a cookie or three… his stash is pretty impressive!

Will – arguably the most creative member of the Cubex team who is always up for a challenge, joined us from SixStar Damp Proofing where he was Area Sales Manager. His affable nature helped him to build relationships with homeowners, landlords, letting agents and Local Housing Associations as he sold a range of ventilation and damp proofing products. In his role at Cubex, Will says he enjoys the diversity of people and companies he gets to meet while helping them to realise the full potential of their commercial fit out, refurbishment and mezzanine installation projects. Will lives in Leamington Spa with his partner of 20 years, Bea and his two daughters, Sophie and Isabelle. When Will is not being driven scatty by his pre-teen daughters, he can be found expressing his talented creative side as an artist (and his work is pretty impressive too!). He is also an avid runner and enjoys sampling food from different countries and cultures. Oh – and let’s not forget he also speaks a little Spanish and Hungarian too… in fact there’s not a lot he can’t do really!!
